This week my small group will be finishing a book called Crazy Love by Francis Chan. I hope the men in my group experienced the same spiritual growth as I did while reading this book. Near the end of the last chapter, Chan asks "What will people say about your life in heaven? Will people speak of God's work and glory through you? And even more important, how will you answer the King when He says, "What did you do with what I gave you?" When I first settled on that question, it scared the crap out of me. After praying and thinking through it, I'm actually excited. I'm excited to one day go before Him but I'm also excited to have the opportunity to do more.

Beth Ann and I have decided to get back into the bible and start praying with a purpose. For the last 6 months or so, I have been reading some outstanding books, but I have neglected the Word. I'm looking forward to this fall season of studying scripture and meaningful prayer with my wife.
