I am so thankful for my wonderful wife. She is my rock. Her encouragement throughout the mission trip was amazing. She had people who have been influential in my life and spiritual journey write me letters of encouragement, and she hid them in my luggage. When I came home the grass was cut and the kids had picked out balloons and a welcome home cake. She played all day with two high energy boys, cooked them three meals, did all their laundry, bathed them, and put them to bed. Yet she still waited up and talked with me for a couple of hours about the trip. Not just talked but helped me walk through some difficult times in Nicaragua. When the boys woke up today she took them both downstairs so I could sleep for a couple more hours. Oh did I mention she is 5 months pregnant?
Beth Ann, I am madly in love with you. Thank you for allowing me to experience a once in a life time trip. There is no place in this world right now though I would rather be- I am so glad to be home!
