I have once again failed to enter into scripture on a consistent basis. I can give every excuse in the book: time, energy, family, blah, blah, blah. The fact is I need to enter into a deeper relationship with the Lord. Henry Blackaby says, "obedience flows out of a love relationship with Jesus." Okay, so what do I do? Spend more time listening? Read the Bible more? Pray more? Serve more? Listen to more Podcasts (this I love doing)? Do I concentrate on one of those actions? What comes first? Ugh the confusion sometimes gets me so frustrated with myself! I know one thing I am not going to do is sit back. I can't. I can not pray and then just sit and wait. That makes me feel like I'm stealing.
